MushroomTop Times: 2025 Market Season Update and What's Coming Next!

Hello again, everyone! Hope you’ve all been doing well.

Sorry for the long radio silence — as you can probably tell, social media and blog maintenance aren't exactly my strong suits. Nonetheless, I believe they’re an essential part of running this business, so I’m going to keep trying.

2025 Market Season Kickoff

I realized I forgot to properly kick off the 2025 market season with you all!

Unfortunately, I had to miss the opening weekend at the Chattanooga Market this year — and I hated to miss it — but I’m planning to be there every week going forward. I’ve really missed seeing everyone and I’m excited to be back in the mix.

Also, after taking last year off, I’m happy to share that I’m back at the River Walk Market in Chattanooga too!

One important update: at the River Walk Market, I’ll only be offering my loose leaf blends.

If you're looking for the prepackaged tea bag blends, those will still be available exclusively at the Chattanooga Market or online.

So if you’re planning to swing by either market, now you know where to find exactly what you’re looking for!

Blog Updates: A New Routine

Now onto some behind-the-scenes updates!

My goal is to settle into a more regular blogging routine — aiming for one post a week, but may switch to every other week If I start to get overwhelmed at that speed. I’m especially excited to start sharing more about the ingredients I use in my blends.

Sometimes I get a little too caught up trying to pick the perfect ingredient to start with, which can slow me down. To keep it simple (and fun), I’ve decided to create a big list of all my ingredients (currently sitting at slightly over 80 different ingredients!) and just randomly select one each week. I think it'll be a great way to keep things fresh and give you a little sneak peek into what’s coming next.

New Blends and How It All Ties Together

On the creative side, I’ve found a way to make social media more fun and informative, too!

And here’s where it gets even more fun — the limited-time blends I’ll be offering at the Chattanooga Market will be based on the same ingredient featured in that week's blog post!

That way, when a new blend drops at the market, the corresponding blog post will be live too — giving you a chance to learn a little bit more about the star ingredient behind it.

Sometimes the new blends might be slight twists on existing favorites, and sometimes they'll be totally new experiments with new ingredients.

Either way, you’ll get a better look into why I chose the combinations I did, what each ingredient brings to the blend, and maybe even pick up some fun facts along the way.

I’ll be doing small batch runs of these limited blends, all prepackaged in tea bags to make it easy (and low-cost) to try something new.

Any remaining blends from that day will go into an “experiment bin” — and once they’re gone, they’ll only be available as loose leaf tea special order pickup at the market or website order.
